The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a language assessment tool for applicants who need to study or work in an environment where English is the primary language of communication. A minimum age of 16 years is required for the IELTS exam, and anyone above the age of 16 regardless of nationality or background, can take the IELTS exam. The test is managed by three organizations, Cambridge Assessment English, British Council, and IDP: IELTS Australia. Many major countries, such as New Zealand, Australia, UK, Canada, and Europe accept the IELTS scores. There is no minimum score to pass in the
test and academic institutes consider a test report card of two years for eligibility. These scores are not only applicable for jobs but also for visa applications. The IELTS conducting bodies have not established any minimum eligibility requirements. Anyone who aspires to pursue higher education or work in a foreign country can take the IELTS exam.
