History is a study of periods and the past events, with records of happenings that suggest how progress or devastation of dynasties and times occurred. The Edexcel History curriculum allows students to study the popular national historical themes, with emphasis on more internationally significant periods such as the crisis during world wars. The curriculum adopts an international relations approach interpreting divisive periods of international history, and develops students ability to correlate and apply the past events to the present day world.
